In line with the golfing year 2012 the following practices will apply for all teams representing the Club in 2013.


  • Teams Captains are encouraged to post a panel of players two Months ahead of the Qualifying Round or 1st Match. 

  • Team Captains MUST post a team list with location, date and time of fixture on the club notice board at least one day before any Team event.

  • Team Captains to liaise and co-ordinate players.

  • Team Captains to Liaise and co-ordinate Meal requirements with Mary McHugh.

  • Teams Captains to arrange fixtures with opposite number from other Club.

  • If for any reason a fixture cannot be fulfilled Team Captain must inform the Club Captain and arrange to notify the other club's team Captain / organizing body.

  • In the event of Team success which merits a team photograph for posterity and display in the Clubhouse the Team Captain should seek guidelines on the protocal for same from the House Convenor.    


  • Complimentary tea with scones or sandwiches available pre-play for all

  • Two course meal available after play at the players expense. It is the responsibility of the Team Captain to collect the cost of the meal from each player and leave same for the treasurer with the Bar Steward.

  • Visiting players receive Complimentary meal

  • Players are responsible for the cost of own meal in away, neutral and qualifying venues, unless hosted by opposing club.



  • Matches within the county – Team Captains are encouraged to contact the opposing Captain and operate a reciprocal arrangement i.e. Free practice round away in return for free practice at home

  • Players who wish to practice in another venue in Ulster should get a GUI voucher from the shop that entitles one to a practice round at half the usual cost. The cost of this to be borne by the player.
